Each rock must be flat exceptionally smooth non-porous and the proper size shape and shade for rock painting. They are all cleaned so they are ready for painting right out of the bag. This set contains 4 Lbs. of tiny stones that range between .4? ? .8? inches in diameter. 4 Pounds of 1/2-inch stones will typically give you over 200 rocks although the exact number will vary as it s measured by weight. These sizes are used when you are using multiple rocks to create a single larger picture such as flower petals or animal limbs or when painting super small rock art.
