The Eastman 1/2-IN OD Gas Dryer Connector Kit is designed to connect most major brands of gas dryers to a shut-off valve. The connector is certified for use with most dryers with gas ratings up to 60,500 BTU. The gas dryer connector kit includes an ArmorBoost EFV (thermal excess flow valve). Eastman's ArmorBoost EFV is designed to help protect you and your family from catastrophic breaks or disconnections in your gas line. The ArmorBoost valve immediately restricts gas flow to help protect you from flammable gas buildup. The valve will remain activated until the gas line is properly repaired. For added protection, the ArmorBoost EFV features a special fireproof thermal ring that expands to stop gas flow when extreme temperatures of 350 degrees+ are reached. DuraCoat epoxy coating provides additional protection against corrosion, chemical stains from common household products, and UV rays and is approved for indoor and outdoor use. This kit includes (1) 48" OD 1/2" Epoxy Coated Gas Dryer Connector, (1) 1/2" ArmorBoost EFV MIP Auto Shut Off Valve, (1) 3/4" MIP Fitting 8 inch (1/4 inch FIP), (1) 1/2 inch FIP fitting, (1) 1/2 inch FIP 2" MIP (2) threaded 3/8" FIP), (1) detection solution of leaks, (1) thread sealant. Fits most dryers with gas ratings up to 60,500 BTU.
