MICROBE-LIFT BMC Biological Mosquito Control is an EPA registered product that kills developing mosquitoes before they become breeding biting adults, including those which may transmit west nile virus and equine encephalitis and heartworm disease to dogs and cats. This liquid product disperses quickly in water and has no adverse effect on the appearance of ponds and water features. Apply Microbe-Lift /BMC to containerized standing water or any private water sites except treated, finished drinking water reservoirs or drinking water receptacles when the water is intended for human consumption or state waters. Add directly to the water to be treated at a rate of 2.5 mL per 1,000 gallons of water or 5 mL per 2,000 gallons of water every other week. One bottle treats 2,000 gallons of water every other week for up to 16 months.
