This economical, reliable little T3 transporter was made from 1979 onwards. The completely redeveloped vehicle with its practical modern shape was visibly roomier than its predecessors. As the last rear-engined type made by VW, it was regarded as the last real ''bully''. The 4-cylinder engine offered 50 to 112 bhp according to version. As usual the transporter appeared in various commercial vehicle versions and also in the form of a camper for private use.
