Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Commercial Mix is an all-purpose mix for both sunny and shady areas. This 99.9% weed free seed has been blended specifically for the Northern region. This unique seed mix has been specially coated to absorb 2x more water than uncoated seed. Application is easy just rake the area to prep the ground apply the seed with a Scotts® spreader and then water daily or as needed. Seed will begin to grow in just 5-10 days. You can begin to mow after the seedlings reach 3 in height. For the best results pair with Scotts® Turf Builder® Starter® Food for New Grass when seeding. Note: Fall and spring are the best times to plant grass seed when temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F and seed germinates best.
