SharkBite Max fittings and valves do not require a PEX tube liner and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal.
