Tannus Armour is a foam/half mousse insert that is placed between the tube and the tyre for puncture protection. Compatible with all clincher wheel rims. It has been developed with our patented Aither technology. A polymer based blend with closed air microcells making it very light, flexible but incredibly durable. The armour protects you against the 4 main threats: sharp objects, side cutting, tearing and squeezing. When installed, you will notice improved comfort as it absorbs a large amount of floor vibrations and dissipates energy evenly in the chamber. The result is a much quiet, quieter and more comfortable ride. It covers the air chamber almost 360º and provides protection from heel to heel. This allows you to ride with much lower pressure without the tyre deformation, slow or difficult to control. Compatibility (see table). Tannus Armour is compatible with tyres marked in the compatibility chart. The air chamber should be slightly smaller than the one we normally use as the tank takes up some of the space reserved for it. If the maximum value of the air gap is within the marked range, it is sufficient. In addition, some references include a cutting line to adapt to the size of the tyres used.
